Full Description

Spend an afternoon in the magical Lake Garda and admire all the beauties it offers!

A fully packed boat tour in the afternoon where we discover the western coast of Lake Garda with its lush nature and fascinating villages. You will see historical places and enjoy the always loved atmosphere of this lake. We depart at the harbor of the Scaliger Castle of Sirmione and will soon pass in front of the house of the famous opera singer Maria Callas, followed by the thermal spa Aquaria. Then we will head to the very end of the peninsula to the white rocky beach called Jamaica below the ruins of the Roman Villa Caves of Catullo. We will drive on to the rock Rocca di Manerba, surrounded by a natural reserve. Underneath this impressive rock opens the gulf with the small island San Biagio, also known as the rabbit island and the beautiful island of Garda. On the latter, you can admire the magnificent Villa Borghese in Venetian neo-Gothic style, in possession of the Cavazza family who still lives there today. Amid this panorama, on the waves of the lake and the silence of the huge park of the private island, you can have a snack and take a dive into the clear waters of the lake. After that, we continue our trip to Salò where we will have a stop-over of one hour. You can visit this enchanting village and have a walk on its beautiful lakeside promenade with a wonderful view of the gulf. The route then takes you to the famous village Gardone, where we will have a toast with some sparkling wine in between the historical residences which surround the lake. Among others, we will see the tower San Marco once owned by Gabriele d’Annunzio and Villa Fiordaliso, the residence of Claretta Petacci, the lover of Benito Mussolini. On our way back to Sirmione we will pass on the Eastern coast of the lake the sulfur springs Boila, source of the beneficial thermal water of Sirmione. Bevor the end of the trip we will pass by boat under the drawbridge of the Scaliger Castle, the only pedestrian access to the peninsula. Arrival is where we departed: at the harbor of the castle.
