Full Description

Aboard an unsinkable raft, we launch ourselves into an adventurous descent on the Umbrian streams

Rafting is a fun and exciting activity: riding on an unsinkable raft you launch yourself on the waters of streams and rivers pushed by the currents, dodging the obstacles that are along the way and overcoming rapids. It is a group sport, and as such requires teamwork: the participants must act according to the conditions and indications that the team leaders (expert guides) give. An adrenaline-filled experience that offers great satisfaction to those who try it, but also a way to discover and visit places inaccessible by other means. The riverbanks in Umbria seem to be made for rafting: they are interspersed with rock walls, woods and large meadows. In just a few minutes you switch from one type of landscape to a completely different one, an aspect that other sports cannot boast! Before boarding the instructors give a brief lesson (compulsory) to explain the safety maneuvers, how to use the equipment and the behavior to take during the descent. All rafts are accompanied by expert guides who give orders for the maneuvers to be carried out during the journey. For the more daring there is also the possibility of diving from a natural trampoline in the fresh and clear water of the river. Back from the adventure, we’ll have a delicious tasting of local products.
