Great artists and personalities like Brunelleschi, Giotto, Donatello, Jacopo Della Quercia - only to name a few, have left here important traces of their passages.

Santa Maria del Fiore is the third largest church in the world and one of the largest churches in Europe.

Florence Cathedral image is worldwide famous for the astonishing Brunelleschi’s dome and its polychrome (white, green, red/pink) marble panels covering the whole structure.

The Duomo Florence was designed by Arnolfo di Cambio, the same architect of Santa Croce and Palazzo Vecchio, who started the project in 1294.

Then, after Di Cambio, many other architects contributed to the final aspect of the building, that was finished in 1436. Inside the Duomo Florence you will find extraordinary artworks.

Starting from the floors, gently covered by multi-colored marbles, and going on with the internal part of the dome, covered by the precious Last Judgement frescoes made by Giorgio Vasari and Federico Zuccari or the famous fresco Dante Before the City of Florence by Domenico di Michelino.
